Hailing from the City of Brotherly Love, DeAnna made her stage debut at the age of seven in a production of The Music Man. Just as she saw that "the Wells Fargo Wagon [was] a-comin' down the street," she also saw her future life in the performing arts.
Having performed in some form of theater every year since then, she made her way to the Ivy League, where she double majored in Theatre Arts and English. At the University of Penn she was fortunate enough to receive an education in not only the history of theatre, but also every major aspect of a theatre production. She gained integral experience working as a Stage Manager, Soundboard Operation, Head of Costuming, and Set and Lighting Designer. These skills only deepened her appreciation of stage acting.
DeAnna immediately went on to pursue her MFA in Acting from the Actors Studio Drama School. A bit of an Anglophile, she also received training while performing in the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and studying Shakespeare and Shaw at The British American Drama Academy in Oxford.
She loves eating bacon, traveling the world, collecting quotes, and doodling on random surfaces!
