Actress∙Singer∙Dancer∙Story-teller

Hailing from the City of Brotherly Love, DeAnna made her stage debut at the age of seven in a school production of The Music Man.  Just as she saw that "the Wells Fargo Wagon" was "a-comin' down the street," she also saw her future life in the performing arts.

Having performed in some form of theater every year since then, she made her way to the University of Pennsylvania, where she double majored in Theatre Arts and English.  At Penn she was fortunate enough to receive an education in not only the history of theatre, but also every major aspect of a theatre production.  She gained integral experience working as a Stage Manager, Soundboard Operation, Head of Costuming, and Set and Lighting Designer.  These skills only deepened her appreciation of stage acting.

Currently, DeAnna is embarking on her third and final year at the Actors Studio Drama School where she is expected to graduate with a MFA in Acting this May.

You can catch her performing in the Off-Broadway comedy Platanos Y Collard Greens at the Baruch Performing Arts Center.  Additionally, as she begins to transition into film/television, keep an eye out for the upcoming film Clipped Wings They Do Fly due to release in 2015.
